REBOOT: 2 Lessons in Architecture proposes a radical reflection on the architectural discipline. Instead of showcasing conventional buildings, it presents constructions born from extreme necessity and survival: the improvised structures of the Tupamaro guerrilla and the survivors of the Andes plane crash.
These "architectures without architects" do not seek aesthetic value or technological innovation. They are precarious yet powerful shelters, built with nothing more than the human body and willpower. The pavilion does not exhibit perfect spaces, but rather symbolic fields of force, where architecture is redefined through the intangible: instinct, human connection, and conviction.
The exhibition rejects certainties and celebrates creativity in the face of adversity. It is not a display of works, but of human concretion—where precariousness becomes a metaphor for resistance. Created with limited resources and deep commitment, REBOOT is itself a testament to the "art of the possible."
