Panavision: Diverse Practices, Shared Perspectives aimed to showcase the work of six Uruguayan architecture studios that represent a partial panorama of the generation trained during the 1990s. Each studio presents its design practices: approaches, strategies, methods, and ways of tackling a project.
The six invited studios are: G+ (Marcelo Gualano and Martín Gualano), 11:45pm (Horacio Flora and Alejandro Batista), Bednarik + Mirabal (Marcelo Bednarik and Federico Mirabal), MBAD (Maio Báez and Adrián Durán), Fábrica de Paisaje (Diego Pérez, Fabio Ayerra, Marcos Castaings, Martín Cobas, and Javier Lanza), and MAAM (Matías Carballal, Andrés Gobba, and Mauricio López).
All studios were asked to follow a set of seven basic rules to develop their projects. The results are expressed through the presentation of 1:25 scale models that form the core of the exhibition. In addition to the models, a detailed record of each process will also be included.
